16/6/2005
Johanna and Daddy went to the Parent and Toddler Group today and we met Nora down there again. Johanna had a great time again and she was running around the place having lots of fun. Daddy brought the camera this time and took some photos of Johanna playing with the other children and playing with all the toys. After the playgroup we went for a nice walk and Johanna saw loads of birds.

When we got home Uncle Adrian was up and we all had some lunch together. Johanna was tired so she went down for a nap and Daddy went for one as well. When we got up we played outside in the garden for a bit. Then it was time to drop Uncle Adrian back to Bray.

When we got to Bray we went in to Uncle Adrian's house and had a drink. Then we went outside in to the garden to play. Johanna was helping Uncle Adrian water his flowers and plants. Then Johanna was helping pull out all the weeds and she had a great time. We then had to go home so we left.

When we got home Johanna had her bottle and went down for a nap. We played games in the garden while we were waiting for Mummy to get home, the weather was fantastic.

When Mummy got home Johanna was still asleep. After a while Johanna woke and Mummy went up to get her. When they came down Mummy gave Johanna her dinner and then they played outside for a while. Before Johanna's bottle Mummy, Daddy and Johanna read some stories. Then it was time for bed.

Today Johanna and Daddy went in to Mummy's work to see her. Everyone thought she had gotten so big and was very tall for her age. Then Mummy, Daddy and Johanna went for some lunch around the corner from Mummy's work. We all had a lovely meal and a nice chat. Johanna was great and had her lunch too. Then we went back to Mummy's work and said good-bye to everyone and it was time to head home.

When Johanna and Daddy got home Johanna had her bottle and went down for a nap. When Johanna woke up we read some stories and played a game or two. Then Mummy came home and Uncle Adrian was with her and stayed for the night.

Later on that evening Mummy, Daddy, Uncle Adrian and Johanna all went up to Johanna's Great Uncle Nico's house to say good-bye to all the family who were home from Australia. Some of they family had already left for Australia yesterday so we did not get to see them.

We all had a great meal that Johanna's Great Aunty Carolanne had cooked. It was nice to sit and talk and to see the family one last time. Ada and Pete are heading back at 8am in the morning. It then came the time to say good-bye and it took a while. We stayed up there for hours and it was late when we got back, but Johanna was very good and went straight to bed when we got in.

Mummy, Daddy and Uncle Adrian stayed up to talk and went to bed later on.

Today Johanna and Daddy went to the Parent and Toddler Group down the town. Johanna loves going and has so much fun with all the other children. We met Nora, Ben and Sam there. Everyone had a great time.

When we got home Johanna had her lunch and went down for a nap. Later on we were playing outside in the garden. Johanna was running around with her buggy and playing with her balloons. After that we read some stories and played a few games inside.

When Mummy got home she read Johanna some stories and played with her little angel for a while. Then Mummy gave Johanna her bath and of course the place was in bits when they were finished, water everywhere. Then Johanna played for a bit and had her bottle and went off to bed.

Monday today and Mummy is back in work and Johanna and Daddy are at home alone. We played in the garden in the morning as the weather was great again today. Johanna had a nap and when she woke up we had some lunch and then played outside in the garden for a while.

Later on we headed over to see Nora and the two boys (Ben & Sam). Johanna was playing away for ages and had a great time. Then we went home for Johanna's bottle. Johanna went down for another nap. When she woke Daddy gave Johanna her dinner and read some stories while we waited for Mummy to come home.

When Mummy got home she read her little angel some stories and then it was time for bed.

Today Granny and Granddad called up from Newbridge to see their little angel. Johanna was delighted to see them and Granny and Granddad could not get over how big Johanna has gotten and how many words she is saying now. Then Johanna's other Granddad Frank called over with Aunties Meg and Kerri so the house was full of people.

Then Mummy, Daddy, Johanna, Granddad Frank, Aunty Meg and Aunty Kerri all went for a swim in Corna Bay swimming pool. Johanna loves the water so much and was in the pool for nearly the whole hour. Johanna was splashing everyone and had lots and lots of fun. We all took turns holding Johanna and she loved it. Then we all went back to our house to see the other Granny and Granddad.

Mummy and Daddy put on a lovely BBQ with loads to eat and drink. Everyone had a fantastic time and everyone was playing with Johanna for the day. We all had too much to eat and took it easy for a while. Johanna had great fun with her buggy outside on the deck. Then it was time for Granny and Granddad to go back to Newbridge so they both left and gave Johanna loads of hugs and kisses and Johanna was waving bye, bye.

Granddad Frank and Aunty Meg and Aunty Kerri left later on and Johanna was waving bye, bye to them too. Johanna had a bath then her bottle and she headed of to bed for the night. We all had a great weekend and Johanna was so happy so see so many of her family over the last two days.

In the morning Daddy got up with his little angel and Mummy had a lie in. Then Mummy went down the town to get some bits and to go for coffee with her friends. Daddy and Johanna stayed at home playing outside and having lots of fun in the sun. The weather was fantastic. Mummy got Johanna a lovely treat when she was down the Town, a little buggy of her own. Daddy has been telling Mummy how much fun Johanna has in the play group with the buggy there. Johanna was delighted and took off straight down the hall with her buggy. Then we all had some lunch.

Then Granddad Frank, Aunties Meg and Kerri called over to see us and were wondering if we would like to go to Glenroe Farm for a picnic. We all got some food and other bits together and headed off to the Farm.

There was so much to see and do in the farm. Johanna, Meg and Kerri had a great time seeing all the different animals and even got to pet some of them. There were so many animals like sheep, rabbits, pigs, cows, deer, horses, ducks, and loads of other ones too. Johanna had a great time and got so excited when she seen the little lambs and ducks.

We then had a picnic and looked around at the animals again. There was a huge playground at the farm and the girls all had a fantastic time even Johanna was on some of the rides. Then it was time to go home and when we got there Mummy put on a lovely dinner and everyone stayed for something to eat.

Then after dinner the girls played with Johanna outside in the garden and then it was time for them to go and for Johanna to head to bed. We all had a great day and Johanna was so happy to see all the different animals for the first time today.

We spent most of the day outside in the garden as the weather was great. Johanna was running around and playing with some of her toys. Johanna also had some balloons and was chasing them around the garden.

Later on Granddad Frank, Aunties Meg and Kerri called over to see us and stayed for a good while playing in the garden with Johanna. Then they had to go.

It was great today as Mummy got off work early and was home to spend some family time with us. We stayed outside for a while and then came in. Johanna loves the outdoors. We then read some stories and played one or two games together.

Daddy had an appointment in the Pain Clinic today so Johanna and Daddy went up to Dublin. When we got there Johanna and Daddy went for a walk and then booked in for the appointment.

The girls at the reception thought that Johanna was so cute and that she has gotten so big over the last few weeks. Johanna was a great little girl and we went for another walk after Daddy saw the doctor.

On the way home we stopped off to see Uncle Adrian and spent a few mins talk and playing, then it was time to go. When we got home Johanna had a bottle and a nap.

Mummy got home and we had some dinner. Then we all just took it easy for the rest of the evening and spent the time as a family playing games, reading stories and listening to music.

Today Daddy and Johanna went to the Parent and Toddler group down the town. Johanna had a great time as she always does. Johanna loves seeing all the other kids and gets on great with them all. Johanna loves playing with the big cars and most of all the little buggy.

When we got back to the house Johanna had her lunch and then went for a nap. When Johanna got up she was delighted to see that Uncle Adrian was there and they played in the garden for a while. Then we went over to a friend's house just around the corner. Nora is now minding Pam's two boys and Johanna was playing with them in the garden for a few hours.

Then we had to drop Uncle Adrian back to Bray and Johanna had a nap in the car. We stayed for a while and then came back home.

When Mummy got home she and Johanna spent the evening playing and reading stories and just chilling out together. Then Johanna went to bed for the night.

Mummy was off today as it was a bank holiday. We spent the day going for walks, playing games and reading stories. We were out in the garden for a good while and the weather was great.

Later on Uncle Adrian came down to see his little angel and spent some time playing with her. Johanna was of course delighted to see him too. In the evening time Mummy, Uncle Adrian and Johanna all went up to see everyone in Nico's house. Daddy did not go, as he was not feeling too well. Johanna had a fantastic time and was so happy to see all the family again.

When Mummy and Johanna came back Johanna went to bed and Uncle Adrian stayed up in Nico's for the night.

Sunday today and we are all off to Newbridge to see Granny and Granddad (David's Mum & Dad). Granddad has not been feeling well so we went down to see how he was and to cheer him up a bit.

Granddad didn't know that we were coming and was over the moon to see us all. Everyone thought Johanna had gotten so much bigger and was talking a lot more now. We had a lovely dinner and a nice chat. Granddad took Johanna out to see his birds and to play in the garden for a while and Johanna had a great time with him.

Later on we all took it easy for the rest of the evening and went for a walk and did a few other bits as well. Then it was time to go back to Wicklow again. We did not stay the night and Johanna went straight to bed when we got home.

The weekend again and poor Mummy has to work today. Johanna and Daddy missed Mummy so much and spent the day doing bits around the house and went down the town to get a few bits in the afternoon.

Later on we read some stories and played some games. Johanna is learning so much and is copying everything we say. Johanna is also starting to count and say lots of new words.

When Mummy got home we all spent the rest of the evening talking, playing games and Mummy read stories to her little angel.

Johanna's Great Aunty Dea is heading home today on the 5:30pm flight to Holland. We all got up around 8:30am and had some breakfast. Then Johanna was playing in the sitting room for a while and then went up for her morning nap around 10:30am. Aunty Dea said her good byes to Johanna before she went to bed.

Daddy and Great Aunty Dea talked for a bit and then Daddy did his recycling and brought it down to the recycling centre. Then it was time for Aunty Dea to leave for the airport so Daddy said his good byes and then Dea headed off for the airport. Johanna did not wake up until around 1:30pm and had her lunch around 2 pm. Then Daddy and Johanna were listening to Johanna's Winnie The Pooh CD and playing some games. It was then time for her bottle and another nap.

Daddy then started to update the website with all the news from the last week and some new photos too. When Mummy got home we just spent the evening talking, playing games, reading stories and just watching Our Little Angel playing with her toys and just being herself. We are so lucky to have an angel like Johanna and thank god everyday for her and for the life we have together.

Today we played out in the garden for a while and then read stories inside. Johanna was playing with her Great Aunty Dea and had a great time. Later on that evening we were going to meet Mummy in Bray as we were getting Johanna's First Pair of Shoes in the same shop that Mummy had gotten hers all those years ago with her Mummy.

When we got to the shop we went upstairs were the kids shoes where. Mummy said that the shop has not changed a bit since she was there years ago. Great Aunty Dea was with us and we picked out a lovely white pair of shoes with little flowers on them. Johanna's foot sizes were her Left was: 5 & her Right was: 4 ½. Johanna was delighted with her new shoes and was flying around the shop as happy as can be.

Then we all went up to Uncle Adrian's house so we could gave Johanna her dinner and then we headed out to Uncle Adrian's college to see his end of year work. When we got there it was so busy there were hundreds of people already there. We went straight to see Uncle Adrian's work and it was out of this world, Fantastic, Unbelievable, and Extraordinary.

All the family were there to see Adrian's work and we were all so Proud of him. We stayed in the college for a few hours and then had to leave to get Johanna home to bed. Adrian stayed on with his friends and got so pissed later on that night. We all had a great day and it was nice to see all the family there supporting Adrian and it gave us another chance to say hi to them all. When we got home and put Johanna to bed we stayed up for a while and talked with Aunty Dea and Mummy said her good byes to Dea, as she will not see her in the morning, as she will be gone to work. Then we went to bed.

We did not do much today as the weather was too wet. In the morning we read some stories and then in the afternoon we played some games.

Later on we all met up in Great Uncle Nico's house near Roundwood as it was his 60th Birthday today. Mummy picked up Uncle Adrian in Bray on her way home from work they met us at the house.

Great Aunty Ada, Great Uncle Pete, Mummy's Cousin Siobhan, her husband Greg and their children Isabelle & Benny were all home from Australia and it was so nice to see them all again and we were meeting some of them for the first time. The party was held in Kimo and Murt's house, which is only across the road from Nico's.

Everyone could not get over how big Johanna had gotten since they last seen her, which was June of last year at her Christening. Johanna was flying around the house and had a great time playing with Isabelle and Benny.

We stayed up there very late and Johanna was very good and didn't mind staying up so late as she was playing away and having fun. We all had a lovely time and the food was fantastic and the chat was flowing all night. Then we headed home and all went to bed very tired.
