When we all got up Daddy fed Johanna and Uncle Adrian got his breakfast. Then we all went up to Uncle Adrian's house for a while. Then Daddy and Johanna went back to Wicklow.
We played games and read a few stories and Johanna was playing around on the floor with her toys. Johanna had a nice bath and went down for a nap.
Granddad Frank, Meg and Kerri came over to see Johanna for a while. Johanna was already in bed so they never got to see her, but said they would call back tomorrow to see Johanna. Mummy got home very late today and never saw her little angel awake.

Today Daddy and Johanna were in Dublin because Daddy had a doctor's appointment. Johanna was as good as gold again.
After the doctor's we went to Uncle Adrian's house to pick him up. He was coming down to stay the night in our house. When we got home we all had something to eat and Johanna had her bottle.
We played a few games together and then read a story. Johanna had loads of fun with her Godfather and was so happy that he stayed the night. Mummy got home late around 8:45pm so she only saw her little angel for about an hour.

Tuesday today and Mummy is gone to work again. The weekends go so fast. Johanna and Daddy were in the house all day and were just playing games and reading stories. Also today Daddy was putting some of Johanna's cards into a book so Johanna can look back in years to come and see them all. Johanna is still not fully over the flu but is getting a bit better as time goes by.
When Mummy came home Johanna was in bed for a while and when Johanna woke up Mummy went up to get her and Johanna was so happy to see that Mummy was home. We spent some time together as a family playing games and just having some fun and a lot of laughs. We went to bed a while after Johanna had her last feed. Daddy was updating the website again today.

Bank Holiday Monday
Daddy brought Cousin Abbie back to Newbridge today and Mummy and Johanna stayed in Wicklow as Johanna is still not over the flu. Daddy went across the Wicklow Gap to Newbridge.
When Daddy and Abbie got to Newbridge they went straight to Abbie's house and they were all delighted to see her again. Daddy stayed there for a while and then went down to Granny and Granddad's. Granny was only there, so Daddy and Granny went over to Uncle Pat's for a chat. Then they went to the shops and back to the house again. Granddad came back from cutting his lawns and we had dinner then. It was time to go home then so Daddy left to come back to Wicklow.
When Daddy got back we all had a lovely time together. We took it easy just reading stories and playing games for the rest of the day.

Easter Sunday
Last night the Easter Bunny came to our house and left some chocolate eggs for Abbie and a DVD for our little angel. Johanna is still too small to be eating chocolate so the Easter Bunny brought the DVD instead.
Later on in the day we all went to Bray to go to Jesters the kids playground with all the soft balls and foam walls. Abbie went into the big side and Johanna went in to the baby's side. There were loads of balls, a slide and lots to climb. Johanna and Abbie had a great time and Abbie played with Johanna for a while in the small side.
We got loads of photos of Abbie and Johanna playing around in the balls and going on the slides. When we got out of there, Abbie went on some other rides and then we left to go for a walk along the seafront.
After the walk we dropped an Easter egg up to Uncle Adrian's house but he was not there, he was in work. Then we went home and Johanna had her feed and went down for a nap.
Granddad Frank came over and Mummy did a lovely dinner for us all. Granddad Frank played with Johanna for a few mins and then had to go again. We all had a great day and watched a kids DVD in the evening. Later on that night Daddy went over to Redcross to see his friends who were staying there for the weekend so it was late when he got home and his little angel was fast asleep in her bed.

When we all got up this morning we had breakfast and then Mummy, Johanna and Abbie went down the town and Daddy went to get his haircut in Ashford. When Daddy had finished he met up with them and they had already been to the bookshop and bought a few nice books.
We then went for lunch to the pancake house. Mummy and Daddy love pancakes and so did Abbie. It was a lovely lunch and later when we were finished we went for a walk to a different shop called Hopkins Toy Store. Daddy and Johanna waited outside as there were too many steps to get Johanna upstairs. Mummy and Abbie went in and Abbie got a lovely box of dolls that you make yourself. Then we went home.
In the afternoon we went back out to Daddy's friends in Redcross. This time we all played Crazy Golf, in the playground, drove boats on a small pond and even drove small trucks as well. We all had a great time and Johanna had a ball. We stayed with Ray and Fran for a while and then went home that evening.
When we got home Mummy went shopping and Daddy stayed home to mind Johanna and Abbie. Abbie had a pizza for tea and Daddy got Johanna's bottle ready. Johanna went to bed and Abbie went up a few mins later. Mummy and Daddy stayed up doing a few bits and then went to bed. We all had a great day and Johanna is having so much fun with Abbie being in the house all the time.

We all went down to Newbridge today after breakfast. We were going to colleted Johanna's Cousin and Mummy and Daddy's Godchild Abbie. Abbie was coming up for the weekend. We had lunch in Abbie's house and then we went around to Granny and Granddads house. Then after a while we all went over to Daddy's other Godchild Leanne as we had her Easter egg. We stayed for coffee and some cakes and then went back to Abbie's house to get all her bits for the weekend.
When we got back to Wicklow we stayed in the house for about an hour and then went to see a friend of Daddy's who was staying in Redcross for the long weekend. When we got out to Redcross we all had a chat first and then we brought Abbie up to the playground. There were loads of different things for her to do like swings, slides and climbing frames and two climbing walls. Abbie had a great time and when she got tired we went back to Ray and Fran's mobile home.
When it got a bit late we went home and Rachel gave Abbie a bath and Daddy fed his little angel. Johanna went to bed a while after that and Abbie stayed up to watch a DVD.

Today is Daddy's Graduation from college. It was held in the Burlington Hotel in Dublin. Mummy took a half-day from work and met Daddy and Johanna at the Hotel. It was a great day and Daddy was happy to see all his old friends again.
After everything had finished we all went to Uncle Adrian's house in Bray as Daddy had Physio today. Johanna was delighted to see her Godfather again and they both played for a while and then Daddy went to the Physio. When Daddy got back we had some pizza for dinner and then stayed for a chat.
When we got home we did a few bits and then put Johanna to bed, as she was very tired. Mummy and Daddy stayed up for a bit longer.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR LITTLE ANGEL 1 YEAR OLD TODAY
Johanna is getting better day-by-day but is still not back to her old self.
Today is Our Little Angels 1st Birthday. Johanna got up around 8:15am and had her bottle and then her breakfast. We then read a story and played a few games. Mummy got up about 9.30am and then Mummy and Daddy had their breakfast. Johanna was wished a Happy Birthday by Text Message from Karin, Meg & Kerri, Joanne & Gerald (Her Godparents), Uncle Adrian and Mummy's Friend Claire.
It was great to have Mummy off for the day and Johanna was so happy to see her. Mummy gave Johanna a bath and then we dressed her in some nice clothes for a few photos. We took a good few with different coloured backgrounds as well. Also this morning our neighbour Carragh called in with a lovely present for Johanna, it was a Forever Friends Dressing Gown.
Uncle Adrian rang to wish Johanna a Happy Birthday and have a quick chat, as he is busy with college. Then Mummy went down to the town to get some bits of shopping and Daddy and Johanna went for a nice nap, as they were both very tired. Daddy stayed up until 4:33am last night getting the website up to date.
Later on Granddad (Rachel's Dad) called over to see Johanna and she was delighted to see him and gave him big kisses and hugs. Afterwards we had a nice Chinese meal, and Johanna had some rice and fish fingers. We then took a few more photos of Johanna as Mummy had bought another cake down the town so we sung happy birthday to Johanna.
Just after dinner a friend of Mummy and Daddy's called in to see Johanna. Nora gave Johanna a lovely trousers and a top. We had a coffee and a chat then Nora had to leave.
We then spent some time together and just chilled out for the rest of the evening reading stories, playing games and watching some TV. Johanna went to bed around 9pm as she was very tired and Mummy and Daddy stayed up for a while longer.
We still can't believe that a year has gone by already. It went so fast and Johanna has gotten so big. We are looking forward to the next year of Our Angels life and enjoy every second we spend with her.

Johanna is much better already and is in good form, you would not think she was sick at all.
Mummy and Johanna had their breakfast with Granny as Granddad was gone for a long walk and Daddy had a lie in again. It is Mummy's turn tomorrow.
It was a very wet day so we just stayed in the house and played some games and relaxed with the family. We stayed for dinner in Granny & Granddads and then came home to Wicklow and got settled in. It is nice to be home again and Johanna had her bottle and went to bed. Mummy & Daddy stayed up a while longer. Tomorrow is Johanna's Birthday and we plan to spoil our special little girl all day.
It is hard to believe she will be 1 tomorrow, the year has flown by, but it has been a fantastic year, filled with such special memories, filled with Joy and Happiness for both Mummy & Daddy and we are so lucky to have Johanna in our lives and we love her more than words could ever say. She means the world to us both.

Sunday today, and we are all a bit tired; Johanna is not herself at all. She didn't sleep very well as she is all blocked up and has a cough. After her lunch Mummy rang the doctor and explained that Johanna is not well and thinks she needs to see the doctor.
We had to wait until late afternoon to see the doctor, as they were very busy. When we got there we had to wait a while. When the doctor saw Johanna she took her temperature and it was quite high, 39.3. The doctor said Johanna has an ear infection in her right ear and the start of the Croup (a very bad cough) and she gave her something to bring her temperature down and a prescription for Antibiotics. We went straight to the chemist and started Johanna on them as soon as we got back to Granny's.
Daddy and Mummy had planned to go out tonight, but it will have to wait as our Little Angel is not well and we don't want to leave her. Johanna woke once, but then slept through the rest of the night.

Today is The BIG DAY…. Johanna's First Birthday Party!!!!
Johanna was up nice and early and had her bottle and breakfast with Mummy while Daddy had a bit of a lie in. After breakfast we played some games with Johanna and after, while she played in her walker we decorated the room and got all the food ready for the party. Then Johanna had her lunch.
After her lunch Mummy gave Johanna a nice bath to get her ready for her party as lots of people were coming. Johanna wouldn't go for a nap so Daddy & Granny brought Johanna for a walk while Mummy went to meet Granddad Frank, Uncle Adrian and Aunties Meg & Kerri to bring them up to the house.
When Johanna, Daddy & Granny got back to the house Mummy got Johanna all dressed up in her lovely pink Party Dress that Granny & Granddad had got her for Christmas.
At about 3pm people started to arrive. Granny, Granddad Joe and Granddad Frank, Uncle Adrian, Aunts Meg & Kerri, Aunt Evelyn, Cousin Abbie, Aunt Janette, Cousins Dayna & Sean, Aunt Joanne, Cousin Kayley, Aunt Natasha, Cousins Alan & Nicole, Cousins Shauna & Megan, Cousins Paddy & Thomas, and friends Linda & Becky all came to Johanna 's 1st Birthday Party. We had lots of cakes and sweets and Johanna had great fun with everyone around her.
After some food, we went outside to the garden to play pass the parcel. Johanna even joined in and won a toy for herself. Everyone got a prize and had lots of fun. After the games we went back inside to open Johanna's presents and light the candle on her birthday cake. See Johanna's presents list to see what she got.
Johanna was delighted with all the attention and had so much fun, then after her party Johanna had a nap while Mummy, Granny and Aunt Natasha cleaned up after the party. Everyone had a great day and Mummy & Daddy were delighted that so many people came to join in Johanna's big day and celebrate with us.
Johanna didn't have a great night as she is coming down with a cold and woke up a few times during the night.

Today is Friday and Mummy has gone to work, after breakfast Daddy and Johanna headed down to Newbridge to get ready for Johanna's party tomorrow.
Daddy, Granny and Johanna went for a walk down town and then we had dinner with Granddad and waited for Mummy to get the train down after work.
Daddy and Johanna played for a while and Mummy started getting things ready for tomorrow. When Johanna had gone to bed the preparations got underway, Daddy blew up all the balloons and Mummy made the cakes. Then off to bed to get a good nights sleep for tomorrow.

HAPPY SAINT PATRICKS DAY
Today is Saint Patrick's Day and it is Johanna's first. We did not go out in the morning; we just got a few jobs done in the house first. Granddad Frank rang to say that Meg and Kerri were going to be coming down to Wicklow today to watch the parade. This was Johanna's first time to see a Saint Patrick's Day Parade. Uncle Adrian rang to wish us all a Happy Saint Patrick's Day. We had lunch and then Johanna went down for a nap.
When Johanna woke up we got her ready to go to the parade. Granddad Frank, Meg and Kerri came to the house and Johanna was so happy to see them all. We stayed in the house for a bit and then went down to look at the parade. It was great and Johanna loved it so much and was dancing to the music. Then we all went for a nice walk down by the river and the sea.
We came back to the house and Granddad, Meg and Kerri stayed for a while but then left to go home to their house. Daddy, Mummy and Johanna read some stories and played some games together. Johanna had her bath later on and then went to bed. Mummy and Daddy went a while after.

Today Daddy and Johanna went for a nice walk and when they got home they played some games and read a few stories.
Mummy came home early today as she started earlier. Johanna was delighted to see Mummy so early and Mummy played with her little angel and read some stories as well. Granddad Frank (Rachel's Dad) called over to see Johanna for a few mins. We then had some dinner and then Mummy had to go to Eden to get some bits done to her with the voucher Johanna and Daddy gave her for mothers day.
Later on we just took it easy for the rest of the day.

Today was another big day for Daddy and Johanna as they both went to the Wicklow Parent & Toddler Group for the second time. There were less Mummy's and babies at the group today.
Johanna had a ball playing around with all the other kids and all the new toys to use. We both had a great time and we were both very tried after the hour and a half of fun. After the group Daddy and Johanna went for a nice walk down by the river and Johanna saw loads of different birds. Then we went home had lunch and a nap.
When Johanna woke up we read some stories and played a few games. Then Daddy gave Johanna her dinner and started to get dinner ready for Mummy, Granddad Frank, Meg and Kerri who would all be coming for dinner, as today is Granddad Franks 61st Birthday.
Mummy got home around a half an hour before Granddad got here with the girls. Johanna was and is always so happy to see her Mummy as she misses her so much. Then Granddad Frank, Meg and Kerri came so we all sat down to a nice dinner that Daddy made. After dinner we all gave Granddad his presents and he was so happy with them all. We even sung Happy Birthday to him but he went a little red. Johanna was delighted to see everyone and had a ball with all the fuss.
After dinner we had a coffee and sat down for a while and the girls played with Johanna. Granddad had to have Meg and Kerri home by 9:30pm so he left around 8:45pm. Then Mummy and Daddy did a few bits and Mummy fed Johanna her bottle and Our Little Angel went to bed. Mummy and Daddy stayed up for a while and watched some TV and then went to bed.

The start of another week. Mummy is in work and Johanna and Daddy are both at home. We did not go out today because the weather was so wet. Johanna and Daddy spent the day reading stories and playing games together.
Later on in the afternoon the window cleaner came to do the windows and came in to see Johanna for a few mins. Johanna was playing shy but started to talk in the end. Jeff could not get over how big Johanna is after getting over the last six weeks.
Mummy got the early train home and we all got something to eat when she got in. Johanna was so happy to see her Mummy and gave Mummy loads of hugs and kisses. Mummy gave her little angel a bath later on and of course Johanna had water everywhere. Then we took it easy for a while and listened to some music together before Johanna had her bottle and went to bed.

Today we did not do much, only stayed in the house. We were playing games and reading stories to our little angel. Mummy went down the town in the afternoon to get a few bits but Daddy and Johanna stayed home. It was nice to spend the time together just doing nothing and enjoying each other's company.

The weekend again and I don't know where the time is going. The weeks are flying by so fast. This time next week we will be down in Newbridge in Granny and Granddads house getting ready for Our Little Angels First Birthday Party. It will be three days before Johanna's birthday but I am sure she won't mind.
Mummy is working today. Mummy fed Johanna her bottle before she went to work and played a few games with her as well.
Daddy and Johanna went down the town in the afternoon to get some shopping and do the lotto. Then we went for a walk down by the river and the sea. Then we went home and Johanna had her bath and splashed the water all over the place again. Johanna loves getting her baths. Then Johanna had a nap so Daddy worked on updating the website.
Later on we played games and read some stories. When Mummy came home we were so happy to see her and we all just spent the rest of the day chilling out as a family.

Today is Friday and Daddy and Johanna went down the town to do a few bits and went for a nice walk down by the river. Johanna loved the walk as we saw loads of swans and other birds.
Granddad Frank called over to see us in the afternoon. He stayed for a while and then had to go. Johanna was delighted to see him.
Mummy came home early today as she had a dentist appointment. Daddy and Johanna went with Mummy and then Daddy dropped Mummy and Johanna back to the house.
Daddy had to go to the Physio in Bray. We did not go to Uncle Adrian's today as Mummy and Johanna stayed in Wicklow while Daddy went to Bray. When Daddy got back we had something to eat and then spent sometime together as a family. We played a few games and watched Johanna playing with her toys. Later on Johanna had her night feed and went to bed so Daddy and Mummy followed a while after.

Today was a big day for Daddy and Johanna as they both went to the Wicklow Parent & Toddler Group for the first time. It was quiet for the first half an hour but then loads of other Mummy's came in with their kids.
Johanna had a ball playing around with all the other kids and all the new toys to use. Johanna was in a car, a tractor, on a bike and pushing a buggy with a doll in it. We both had a great time and we were both very tried after the hour and a half of fun. The group is on every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:30am to 12pm so Daddy and Johanna will be going from now on as its great for Johanna to be with other kids of all different ages.
Later on Daddy and Johanna went over to Granddad's house (Mummy's Dad), as we had to feed his cat and fish again because he is away in England. After that we went home and Johanna her bottle. We had dinner together later on and then Johanna went down for a nap.
Mummy is not coming home tonight as she has a night out in Dublin with her work mates. We will miss her so much but will see her tomorrow evening after work. Daddy and Johanna read stories and played games in the evening and then Johanna had her bottle and went to bed.
It was great to see Johanna having so much fun this morning and to watch how she gets on with the other kids, which was great. Johanna is really starting to walk now and did a lot of it today.

Daddy and Johanna went to Dublin today as Daddy had a doctor's appointment. We were in there for a while and Johanna was as good as gold again. While we were waiting to see the doctor Daddy and Johanna went for a nice walk around the hospital gardens.
When we were finished in the doctor's we headed home again. On the way we stopped off at Granddad's house (Rachel's Dad). Granddad had asked Daddy to feed his fish and cat as he is away on business in England. Then we went home to our house.
Johanna had her bottle and went down for a nap. Then when Johanna woke up she had her dinner with Daddy. When Mummy came home she read Johanna some stories and played a bit with her. Then we all chilled out for the rest of the evening.
Johanna is really starting to walk around now. Everyday she is getting better and better at it. The time has gone by so fast.

Monday again and Johanna and Daddy did not do much today. We just read a few stories and played a few games. Johanna was very sleepy and slept a lot today. When Mummy came home we all spent a bit of time together just chilling out as a family.
Granddad Frank (Mummy's Dad) called over to see Johanna and stayed for a while.

MOTHER'S DAY
Today is Mothers Day and it's the first one for Rachel. Daddy and Johanna had already sent flowers to Mummy's work on Friday and today we gave Mummy her two cards and a Voucher for Eden.
We went down to David's sisters house Janette, Pa, Danya and Sean in the morning and had a great chat and some coffee. After that we went back up to Granny's and got ready to go out for dinner. Johanna and Daddy were bringing Mummy, Granny and Granddad out to dinner. We had a lovely time and the meal was nice too.
After the meal we left to go back home to Wicklow. When we got home we had something to eat and watched a bit of TV. Later on Mummy gave Johanna a bath and she loved it splashing all over the place. Then it was off to bed and Mummy and Daddy followed a while after.

The Weekend again, where is the time going. We went down to see David's Mum, Dad and Uncle Ross in Newbridge this weekend and to get some of the bits for Johanna's party ready.
Everyone was delighted to see Johanna and can't get over how big and strong she has gotten. Johanna's Godmother was in Granny's house when we got down and Johanna had a ball with her. Cousins Jamie and Abbie were playing with Johanna as well.
We went down the town then to have a look for shoes for Johanna. We went in to the Clarks shop and Johanna got her very first pair of shoes. They were white with purple flowers on them. Johanna was so happy and is standing better since she got them.
We then went up to see Johanna's Great Granny Murphy(Daddy's Granny) she is now 84 years old. She was delighted to see Johanna and we stayed talk to a bit. Then went back to Granny's house and took it easy for the rest of the day.

Johanna and Daddy went for a walk down the town and got a few bits as well. When we got back Daddy read stories and played games with his little angel. We sent off for Johanna's Passport and it came back today so we are all set for Holland in April.
Granddad Frank (Rachel's Dad) called over to see Daddy and Johanna. He played with Johanna for a bit and then had to go. After that Johanna had her bath and as usual the bathroom was drowned. Johanna loves getting her baths and has so much fun in it.
Later on Johanna and Daddy went up to Uncle Adrian's house to meet Mummy and Adrian. Daddy had Physio again today and went off to it and Mummy, Adrian and Johanna stayed in Uncle Adrian's house. When Daddy got back we all had something to eat and a long chat with Adrian.
When we got home Johanna was tired and we gave Johanna her bottle and put her to bed. Mummy and Daddy watched TV for a while and then went to bed as well.

We had lots of snow again today and Mummy had to walk to the train this morning because it was too bad to drive. When Johanna and Daddy got up the snow was still falling, but around 10am it started to rain so the snow was washed away.
Johanna and Daddy went down the town to get some bits for her party and to do a few other bits too. It was very cold out and we did not stay out for long. When we got back to the house we read some stories and played a few games until Mummy came home.
It is so funny to watch Johanna when Mummy comes home. Johanna will be in the kitchen with Daddy and when she hears the front door she is gone like a bat out of hell. Johanna loves when her Mummy comes home and we are all together as a family. Mummy read her little star a few stories and then it was time for bed.
Mummy and Daddy love their little angel so much and thank god every day for bringing her to us and for keeping her safe.

The start of another month of Our Little Angels Life. Today is the 1st of March and this is the month when Johanna will become 1 Year Old. The past year has gone so fast and so much has happened in it. Johanna has grown up too quick and is now into everything.
Today Johanna and Daddy went to Dublin as Daddy had to get some x-rays and an ultra sound done. Johanna was again as good as gold; all the nurses were over playing with her and wanted to mind her when Daddy had to go in to get his tests done.
When we got back to Wicklow we went for a nice walk down the town and got a few bits too. Then we went back to the house and Johanna had her bottle and went down for a nap. When Mummy came home we all sat down for some family time together. Mummy read Johanna a story and then fed Johanna her night-time feed. Johanna's teeth have been very sore over the last few days, so we think she may be getting a few new ones.
