Today Johanna and Daddy went to the Parent and Toddler group down the town. Johanna had a great time as she always does. Johanna loves playing with all the other kids and I think she has an admirer, a little boy from Sweden. He follows Johanna everywhere she goes its so funny looking at them.
Later on after the group we went for a walk and then back to the house to see Aunty Dea. We all had lunch and then Johanna went down for a nap.
When Johanna got up Daddy and Aunty Dea were playing games with Johanna outside in the garden. Johanna was chasing her balloons around the garden and playing football too. Then we came in and read some stories and played a few games inside.
When Mummy got home from work Aunty Dea had left for the party so we were on our own for the evening. We were playing and talking with Johanna and Mummy and Johanna read some stories.
Johanna's Great Uncle Nico was having a surprise 60th Birthday Party that evening and Great Aunty Dea went up to their house near Roundwood. When Dea got back we found out that Johanna's Great Aunty Ada, Great Uncle Pete, Mummy's Cousin Siobhan, her husband Greg and their children Isabelle & Benny were all home from Australia. This was a huge shock to Nico but they all had a great night after that.
Great Uncle Nico's 60th Birthday is not until tomorrow and that is when we are going up to see him.

Today we went for a walk with Great Aunty Dea. We were down the town and by the river. Johanna was walking around and loved it so much.
Later on we were reading stories and playing games in the garden. Johanna loves being outside and would stay out all day if we let her. Then we had dinner and Mummy came home from work.
Mummy read some stories to her little angel and then gave her a bath. Johanna played for a while with her Great Aunty Dea and then had her bottle and went to bed for the night. Mummy, Daddy and Dea stayed up talking for a while.

Today we all got up at around 9:15am. Johanna is lying in so much later these days and its great for us all. We had breakfast and then played some games together. Then Daddy went over to Granddads house to fix his Pc. After that Granddad Frank and Aunties Meg and Kerri came back over to our house.
Granddad Frank had to drop Aunty Meg up to a party in Dublin so Aunty Kerri stayed with us for a few hours. Daddy, Kerri and Johanna all went outside to the green across the road from our house and played for a while. Johanna kept trying to eat the flowers and we all had a nice time. Johanna had a great time as they were playing games and reading stories together. Johanna has come so far and is great with other kids and does not mind sharing her toys or books.
When Granddad Frank got back we all had a lovely dinner and a nice chat. Then we played out in the garden for a while and then it was time for us to go to feed the ducks and swans down at the river. Johanna was delighted to see all the birds and was feeding them herself. Then after that we came back to the house and watched TV for a while. Then it was time for Granddad and Kerri to go home so we all said our good byes.
When everyone had gone a while Mummy, Daddy and Johanna went for a nice family walk together. Then when we got back it was time for Johanna to have her bottle and go to bed.

We did not do much over the last few days and now the weekend is here again. Mummy is not working and we are so happy about that. We are planning to spend some nice time together. We went down the town in the morning and meet our friend Nora (Mrs Salley). We went for some lunch and then headed home to give Johanna her lunch. Johanna went down for a nap then.
Later on that afternoon Johanna's Great Aunty Dea came over from Holland to see us all. Johanna was so happy to see her. Dea could not get over how big Johanna had gotten since she had last seen her in Holland about a month ago. We all had a great chat and Dea brought Daddy over some nice Poffertjes mix so Daddy can make his famous Dutch Pancakes.
Granddad Frank and Aunties Meg and Kerri called over to see us too. They girls were playing with Johanna and Johanna loved all the extra attention. We then had something to eat and then had a long chat. Granddad, Meg and Kerri left to go home and then Johanna had her night fed and went to bed. Mummy, Daddy and Dea stayed up for a while longer chatting.

Today Daddy and Johanna went in to Dublin to see one of Daddy's doctors. Johanna was as good as gold and everyone thought she was so cute.
When we got home we read stories and played games out in the back garden. Johanna loves being outside and runs around on the deck for ages playing with her toys.
When Mummy got home she played games with her little angel and we all took it easy for the rest of the day.

Johanna had a great sleep and woke up at around 9:15am. We got up and had breakfast and then played in the sitting room for a while. Granddad Frank called over to say hi and to see his little angel. Johanna played for a while with her Granddad but then went down for a nap. We did not go to the playgroup today just stayed at home playing instead.
Johanna slept for a few hours so her Granddad Frank had left before she woke up. We got some lunch and then read some more stories and played some games too. Johanna is great now and will even play away on her own. She is getting so big so fast it's frightening how quick they grow up and she is no longer a little baby anymore.
In the evening we went up to Bray as Daddy had Physio today. We met Mummy at the train station and then went up to Uncle Adrian's house. Adrian was there when we got to the house Mummy and Johanna stayed there while Daddy went to the Physio. After the Physio Daddy went back up to Uncle Adrian's house and chatted for a while with Adrian, and Johanna was in to everything in his sitting room. Then we headed home Johanna had her bath and bottle and then went to bed for the night.

Monday today and Barbara, Trevor, Tanya, Maeve and Ciaran are all going home this evening. Mummy said her good byes last night as she was working today. Johanna, Maeve and Ciaran were playing together all morning. Granddad Frank, Barbara and Trevor called over and we all just talked for a while as the kids played in the sitting room.
Then in the afternoon we all went down the town to get some bits and drove out to Chester's Pub in Ashford for some lunch. After lunch we all headed up to see Uncle Adrian in college. Uncle Adrian had not seen anyone as he is very, very, very busy with his end of year work.
When we got there Uncle Adrian came out to meet us and Johanna went straight in to his arms. Johanna loves seeing Adrian and always has lots of fun with him. After Adrian had said hello to everyone we all went in to his college to see his work and was it good or what? Magnificent is the word. Everyone thought the same as me. Adrian was delighted to see the kids and everyone and then it was time to say good-bye again.
The weekend went far to quick and everyone had to leave again to go back to England. After a long good-bye we all headed our separate ways. Daddy and Johanna went home and Johanna had her dinner and then Mummy came home. Johanna gets so excited when she sees her Mummy and we spent the rest of the day just playing games, reading stories and just being a family. We were missing everyone already and hope to see them again for Christmas?

OUR LITTLE ANGEL IS 1 YEAR AND 2 MONTHS OLD TODAY
In the morning Johanna had her bath and played with Maeve and Ciaran in the sitting room. Then they were playing outside in the garden and Johanna had so much fun running around after Maeve and Ciaran. Later on that morning Barbara, Trevor and Granddad Frank called over for a chat and some coffee.
In the afternoon we all went out to Brittas Bay Beach. They weather wasn't too good at the start but then the sun came out. They kids had a fantastic time running around on the sand and Johanna was playing too. We took some nice photos and some video. Then we went for a bit of lunch in a pub up the road.
After lunch Mummy, Daddy and Johanna went back to the house and Johanna went down for a nap. All the rest went for a drive around and came back later. We had a lovely dinner and a great chat and then the kids went to play in the sitting room. Everyone had a drink and took it easy for the rest of the evening just playing with Johanna, Maeve and Ciaran watched some TV. Granddad Frank had an unbelievable time with Ciaran they were playing for ages and laughed so much. Maeve and Johanna played with her dolls and teddies.

The weekend again and Mummy is feeling a bit better now but is still not over it all. We all got up together and had breakfast. Then Johanna had her bath and Mummy and Daddy got ready to go out. We were heading up to Blackrock Church to go to Kerri's First Communion Mass.
When we got there we went in and seen Kerri in her lovely dress. Johanna was delighted to see her Aunty Kerri and was looking at the dress so much. After the mass we met up with Karin, Frank, Kerri and Meg outside the church. All of Karin's family were there and we got some photos of Kerri.
Then Karin, Frank, Kerri and Meg went back to Kerri's school for a breakfast so we met up with Barbara, Trevor, Tanya, Maeve and Ciaran who had just gotten in from England a few hours before. We all went for some lunch and it was great to see everyone again. They kids had a ball together and we so happy to see each other. Maeve and Ciaran had gotten so big over the last year.
After lunch we all went to Karin's house to see Kerri again and Karin had put on some nice food and drinks for everyone. We were there for a few hours and Johanna had a great time playing in the garden with her cousins Maeve and Ciaran and her Aunties Meg and Kerri. We took loads of photos and a clown came to the party, and all the kids were delighted to see her. The clown was playing games so Daddy brought Johanna over to play as well. Johanna got a balloon dog and some other bits.
We then left to go home and Barbara, Trevor, Tanya, Maeve and Ciaran came with us. When we got home we all had a long chat about the kids and other things too. Johanna, Maeve and Ciaran were playing away together and had so much fun. We all stayed in for the rest of the evening and just took it easy playing with Johanna, Maeve and Ciaran and reading them some stories.

Mummy is still not feeling well today so she took the day off. Daddy and Johanna took care of Mummy for the whole day.
Later on Daddy and Johanna went shopping to get some bits for the weekend as we had family coming over from England and the U.S.A. When we got home Mummy had gone back to bed so we played in the sitting room for a while.
Later on that evening Mummy was starting to feel a bit better so she played with her little angel for a while. Johanna was flying around and is in to everything. We played out in the garden for a while and Johanna was playing with her football. We did not do much after that just played inside and read some stories.

Mummy stayed home today from work as she was not feeling well. Daddy and Johanna took care of Mummy and then went to the Parent and Toddler group in the town. Johanna had a ball as she always those. Johanna was running around playing with all the toys and getting in to the cars.
After the playgroup Daddy and Johanna went for a nice walk around the town and got a few bits for Mummy. When we got back to the house Mummy was still in bed so we read some stories and had a bit of lunch.
Later on when Mummy got up we all just took it easy and stayed in for the rest of the day. Johanna was delighted to have her Mummy home for the day.

The weather was not good today so we did not play outside like yesterday. Johanna wanted to go out so much but it was raining all day so we stayed in playing games and reading stories together.
Mummy went to work very early today so she got off early and was home around 5pm. Johanna was delighted to see her Mummy so early and we spent the rest of the day playing and having fun together as a family. We were both so happy to have Mummy home early and miss her so much when she's not here with us.

We stayed for an extra night so Mummy had to get the train from Newbridge to work. Daddy and Johanna stayed in Newbridge for the rest of the day. In the morning we went down the town with Granny and did some shopping.
In the Afternoon we went over to Johanna's Great Auntie Margaret's house. She was so happy to see us all and thought Johanna had grown so much. Johanna played for a while and had a look at all the lovely birds that they have in the back garden. We then went for a walk and popped in to Johanna's Great Uncle Pat's and Great Auntie Doreen's. Again they were delighted to see us and said Johanna is growing so fast. We stayed for a while and then went back to Granny's house.
Johanna played for a bit and then had her bottle and went for a nap. We then got our dinners and packed the car to head home. We met Mummy off the train in Wicklow and drove home. We took it easy for the rest of the day and Johanna was glad to be home with all her toys and books.

Sunday today and we all got up together. We had some breakfast and then went down to see Johanna's Uncle Pa and Cousins Dayna and Sean Aunty Janette was working today. It was a fantastic day and they were all playing outside in the garden when we got there. We sat outside and Johanna played with Dayna and Sean. Johanna had a ball on the slide and playing with all the other toys. We stayed for a while and then went back to Granny's for some dinner.
Later on we went for a walk and then went down to see a friend of Mummy and Daddy's Ellen and Jonathan who live in Newbridge. Ellen was there on her own Jonathan and the boys were up in Bray. Ellen could not get over how big Johanna had gotten and nearly died when she started walking around the room. Ellen is due her third baby in eight weeks or so. Johanna was playing and flying around the room and then we left to go back to Granny's house.
When we got back Granny and Granddad were playing with their Little Angel for a while but then it was time for bed so Johanna had her bottle and went up.

Today was Johanna's Cousin's First Communion. Alan is my sister's child and we all went to the church in the morning to go to the mass. Johanna was as good as gold and never made a sound for the whole mass. Later after the mass and photos we all went up to Natasha and Peters house for something to eat and drink.
There were loads of family from both sides at the house and Johanna's Great Aunty & Great Uncle came up from Carlow. They thought Johanna had gotten so big and that it was great to see her walking around. Johanna had a great time with all the other kids and even got on the bouncy castle. We stayed there for ages and then went back to Granny and Granddad's house.
Later on after Johanna had her dinner Mummy, Daddy, Granny and Johanna went up to see Johanna's Great Granny Murphy. She was in good form and we talked for a while. Johanna's Great Granny was delighted to see her and that she is walking around so much.
Later we all took it easy for the rest of the day and Johanna went to bed early as she was very tired from all the running around that she did during the day.

Johanna and Daddy got up at around 8:30am. Johanna had her bottle and then played in her playpen for a while. Daddy did a few jobs around the house and then gave Johanna her breakfast. After that Daddy put all the recycling in to the car and we both went down to the recycling centre. When we got back Johanna went down for a nap.
In the afternoon we played some games and read a few stories then it was time to go and met Mummy in Bray. We met Mummy at the train station and then went up to Uncle Adrian's house. Uncle Adrian was there and Johanna and Mummy stayed with him and Daddy went to his Physio.
Later on when Daddy got back to Uncle Adrian's we stayed for a while but then had to leave as we were heading down to Newbridge for the weekend. When we got down Granny and Granddad could not get over how much better Johanna's walking was. Johanna was flying around the place. Johanna then had her bottle and went down for her night sleep. Mummy and Daddy stayed up talk to Granny for a while longer.

Johanna and Daddy went to the Parent and Toddler Group this morning. Johanna loves going and meeting all the other kids. There were not as many kids today, which was nice as Johanna had more space to play. Johanna had a ball as usual. She was flying around and getting on to bikes and in to the big cars.
When we finished we went to the Post Office and then went home. Johanna had her lunch and went down for a nap. Daddy did a few jobs around the house. When Johanna woke we played out in the garden for while and Johanna was playing with her football. Our Neighbour saw Johanna and could not get over how big she has gotten and that she is walking around on her own.
We read some stories and played a few games later on in the day. Granddad Frank called over to see Johanna and stayed for a while. Johanna was pushing her little baby around in her big buggy. When Mummy got home we all went over to see Granddad, Meg and Kerri who were down for a few days. Daddy put their PC together and we all played for a while in the garden. Then when we came home Mummy got some bits together for our trip to Newbridge tomorrow. Johanna had her bottle and went down for the night.

Today Johanna and Daddy went to the Parent and Toddler Group. Johanna had a ball and was getting in to everything. Everyone said that Johanna has come so far with her walking.
Johanna loves going to the group to meet all the other kids. She gets so excited when we go in and fly's around after all the kids. There is one kid younger than Johanna and two around the same age but all the rest are older.
When the group finished we went home for some lunch and Johanna was feeding herself with a little bit of help from Daddy. Johanna thinks it's great fun and the place was in a mess but who cares once she's learning and having fun. Then Johanna went down for a nap.
Later on we read some stories and played a few games. Also we were playing out in the garden, as it was a lovely day. Johanna had a go at feeding herself some dinner as well.
When Mummy got home we had some dinner and a chat about our day. We then all played a few games and spent the rest of the evening together. Johanna is really flying along and is starting to climb up things for the last few days.

This morning we all had a nice breakfast and then got ready to go to Glendalough. We were going to meet Granny, Granddad, Uncle Pa, Cousins Danya and Sean also we met Cousin Paddy his girlfriend Catriona and their son Thomas.
When we got there, we all went for a meal in the hotel and the weather was very bad outside but by the time we were finished the meal the sun had come out and stayed out of the rest of the day. Everyone was delighted to see Johanna walking around and said how big she had gotten.
We then went for a walk around the lakes and Johanna got out of the buggy for a while and had a walk around with Mummy and Granny. Johanna thought it was great walking outside. Johanna was playing with all her cousins and they all had a great time. We spent the day up there and on the way home met Granddad Frank in the pub for a drink. Johanna was delighted to see him and was walking around the pub. We then went home.
When we got home we all got a bit to eat and then played a game or two. Johanna went down for the night earlier than usual, as she was so tired. Mummy and Daddy watched TV for a while and then went to bed. We all had a fantastic weekend and it was great to spend so much time together as a family.

We all got up together today and had breakfast. Johanna went down for a nap then Mummy and Daddy did a few jobs around the house. Later on we went down the town and went shopping. Then we went to Arklow to go shopping.
Johanna is still flying around and there's no stopping her now she's in to everything and wants to be on the ground most of the time. We played some games and read a few stories later and Johanna had her bath. Johanna loves her bath time and the place gets so wet as Johanna splashes the water everywhere.
We called into see some friends, Pam, Dots, Ben and Sam. Johanna had great fun playing with Ben and Sam and all the different toys. Pam and Dots couldn't get over how big and strong she has gotten. Then we headed home and just took it easy for the rest of the day and Johanna was playing with her toys and never stopped walking around for the whole day.

Johanna and Daddy went to the Parent & Toddler Group today. It has been a few weeks since we have been there as Johanna was sick and we were away in Holland.
When we got there everyone could not get over how big Johanna had gotten and when she started walk they all said well done to her. Johanna got so excited and was flying around. Johanna had a great time and this time she was getting in to everything and all the kids were playing with her.
When we got home we had some lunch and that was fun for Daddy. Johanna is now trying to eat on her own with a spoon. Her food ended up everywhere and all over her as well. Johanna had a great time and thought it was great fun. Daddy then cleaned Johanna and she went down for a nap.
When Johanna woke up we read some stories and played a few games. Johanna is getting so fast at her walking and it's hard to keep up with her sometimes. We played outside in the garden too. Then later on we had dinner and then Johanna went down to a nap again.
When she woke up we listened to some of her favourite music from her Winnie the Pooh CD. Johanna was dancing around and trying to sing along with the songs. We then got Johanna ready for bed and gave her a bottle. Mummy was working very late today and never got to see her little angel but she rang to say good night and Johanna had a little chat on the phone. Johanna missed her Mummy so much today and loves her so much.

We all got up together when Johanna woke up. Daddy gave his little angel her bottle and breakfast. We just did a few jobs around the house and of course Johanna was helping out. Johanna is walking all the time now and wants to help doing everything.
Granddad Frank, Aunties Meg & Kerri called over for some breakfast around 11:30am. Daddy made his famous Poffertjes for everyone. Meg and Kerri both ate 39 of them, which is a lot. We all had a lovely time and a great chat. The girls were playing with Johanna and were so happy to see her walking around so much. The Girls and Granddad left to go to a dog show so we chilled out for a while.
Later on we all went over to Mummy and Daddy's friends Nora and Bobby. They could not get over how big Johanna has gotten and were delighted to see Johanna walking around on her own. We stayed for a lovely dinner and a nice chat and some coffee. Then we left to go home.
When we got home Johanna was playing for a while and we read some stories too. Then Mummy gave Johanna her bath and bottle and Johanna went down for the night. Johanna has come so far over the last week with her walking and her talking too.

Today is our first Day home, so we just chilled for the morning. Johanna woke early and Daddy got up with her and gave Johanna her bottle. Afterwards Johanna had a little nap so Daddy had a nap too while Mummy cleared away all the things we bought in Holland.
After lunch Granddad Frank, Aunties Meg & Kerri called over, they were delighted to see Johanna come walking towards them at the front door. Meg & Kerri played with Johanna and she had great fun. Granddad had a cup of Tea and thought Johanna has grown up so much in the week.
After a nap in the afternoon, we all headed up to meet Uncle Adrian after work, he was taking some photos for his end of year project for College. He was amazed at the change in Johanna. After we went back to his house in Bray where Johanna had her dinner and Mummy, Daddy and Uncle Adrian had a cup of coffee. Adrian was delighted with all the Goodies from Holland.
Then Mummy & Johanna went for a walk while Daddy and Adrian went to take some more photos. Then we came home and Johanna played for a while and we read some stories before it was time for bed.
